Questions we get asked most
What qualifications do your cleaners have, and why do you call them cleaning technicians?
We call them cleaning technicians because we take pride in the skill and keep improving it. Beyond technical training, every technician assigned to NDIS and aged care work holds an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, an NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate, a working with children check and a police check.
Do you provide cleaning chemicals and equipment?
Yes. We provide all equipment and cleaning chemicals. Our products are environmentally friendly, so they are safe for your home and for the people who use it every day — including our own team. If you would prefer we use your own products, we are happy to do that.
Do you do cleaning jobs other than NDIS?
Yes. We work with private clients, aged care facilities, NDIS participants and more.
Are you an NDIS registered provider?
No. 3 Piglets Cleaning is not an NDIS registered provider. This means we can work with self-managed and plan-managed participants, who are free to choose any cleaning provider. If your plan is agency-managed (NDIA-managed), you will need to use an NDIS-registered provider. If you are not sure how your plan is managed, your plan manager or support coordinator can confirm it for you.
Do you provide gardening and handyman services?
No — we are a cleaning company and we put our time and energy into cleaning. Every trade needs its own knowledge and equipment to do the job properly. We can refer you to specialist partners we work with. Any work arranged with a third party is subject to their own terms and insurance.
Which areas do you service?
We service the eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, including Bayswater, Blackburn, Croydon, Croydon North, Croydon South, Doncaster, Ferntree Gully, Glen Waverley, Kilsyth, Mooroolbark, Mount Waverley, Nunawading, Ringwood, Scoresby, Vermont, Wantirna and Wantirna South. We are continually expanding our service area — please contact us if your suburb is not listed.
What is a regular clean?
A regular clean is a weekly, fortnightly or monthly service designed to maintain your home. It normally takes two to five hours depending on the size of the house, and covers general surface dusting including spot cleaning around doors and switches, floors vacuumed and mopped, general cleaning of all kitchen surfaces, and general cleaning of bathrooms and toilets. We can customise it to suit your needs.
What is the difference between a regular clean, a vacate clean and a spring clean?
A regular clean maintains the standard. A spring clean targets what a regular clean cannot reach and suits a roughly six-month interval — oven cleaning, windows inside and out, carpet steam cleaning, hard water treatment, gutters, mould removal, air vent and light covers, and wall mark removal. A vacate clean is the end-of-lease clean done to an inspection standard when a property is empty.
Do I need to be home while you clean?
No. Most of our regular clients arrange access and go about their day. Whatever you are comfortable with is fine — just tell us how you would like access handled.
Will I get the same cleaner every time?
That is what we aim for, and for regular clients we can usually hold it. If your regular technician is away we let you know in advance and brief whoever covers, so nobody arrives without knowing your checklist.
Are you insured?
Yes. 3 Piglets Cleaning carries public liability insurance across every job we attend, and every technician on our team holds a police check.
How do I book, change or cancel a clean?
Call 03 4708 4460 or email info@3pigletscleaning.com.au. Let us know as early as you can for changes so we can offer the slot to someone else and get you rebooked.
