An NDIS clean and a standard house clean can look identical on the surface. The differences are in who is allowed to do the work, who decides what gets done, and what gets written down afterwards.
Our position on registration, stated plainly
3 Piglets Cleaning is not an NDIS registered provider. That means self-managed and plan-managed participants can choose us freely, and agency-managed (NDIA-managed) participants cannot. If you are unsure how your plan is managed, your plan manager or support coordinator can confirm it in a minute.

Participant-led scope
This is the real distinction. A standard clean sells you a package. NDIS household task support starts from what you need help with, which may be quite specific — the bathroom and the floors only, or everything except the bedroom, or a rotation that changes with how you are that fortnight.

Participants consistently rank this above almost everything else, and it is easy to see why: a familiar person who already knows your home, your preferences and your boundaries does not need managing. A stranger does.
Records
A record of what was done at each visit is what a plan manager needs to process the support. It also means there is never a disagreement about whether something was covered.
What it is not
NDIS cleaning is not personal care, not nursing, and not support coordination. Cleaners clean. A provider offering to blur that boundary is not doing you a favour.

Can the task list change over time?
It should. Needs change, and the list should change with them rather than you starting the arrangement again.
